if any of you are looking for a really inspiring book that is easy to read, get po bronson 'what should i do with my life?'. it's 7.99 and it is beautiful. it includes stories about people that have answered the ultimate question. it includes stories such as the investment banker who gave it all up to be a catfish farmer to a man who decides to become a lawyer in his sixties. the stories are in bite size chunks of no more than 5 pages long, of different ages and different cultures and include a piccie of the person you are reading about. some of them get there, some are still answering the question, including the author of the book and some risk everything to find nothing, but it all means something to everybody.
it is heart warming,real and you can relate to it wherever you are in life.

so, if you read my last blog, you might know ive had a weird throat thing...well its linked to me having GLANDULA FEVER!!!! i know i wasnt feeling right. the lump in the back of my throat is still undiagnosed so went for blood tests to check it out...get results in a week. feel like poo, need cheering up please friendly bloggers! miss you xxxxx

OH MY GOD!!!!! where have i been, who am i....what am i doing here?!!!!!! feel like i have literally been alice in wonderland and fallen down this big rabbit hole we call life!
well, i have been dealing with alot lately! lets start from the beginning...went to see sheryl crow at the bbc theatre after winning a competition to be part of a 100 people only audience on the mark radcliffe show.....tim and i were 2nd row from the front and it was awsssoooommme! imagine a theatre in art deco styly with dim lights and two art deco lions on the wall behind the stage. there were mics hanging from many points and a flight box on the left hand side that simply stated 'sheryl crow'. when we first arrived, we were ushered into the theatre to hear sheryl crow on the radio doing an interview, while the band was tuning up in front of us....many cool instruments might i add, including les paul guitar in sunburst and amazing tama star classic drum kit in maple. sheryl had a twelve string and an acoustic AND another guitarist and bassist taboot! the backing singers were two black mamas with funky hair and funky voices. when sheryl came out, i was surprised at just how tiny she is! she is roughly 5 foor one, size 8 and she was wearing simple jeans with boots and hair back in a pony tail. effortlessly beautiful. the one thing that you notice first about her is her smile....IT IS HUGE!!!! and even being surrounded by very tall musicians, she stole the stage with ease. and her voice......WOW every note was perfect and SOOOO loud! she did the classics from all i wanna do is have some fun, right up to her new tracks, including an amazing song called shine over babylon.she smiled at me singing along too!!!!!
if you can, listen to it on the bbc website, type in sheryl crow or mark radcliffe and you should find it....awsome!!!!!
after the show, we went to garfunkels, got drunk and headed to the hilton!!!! we managed to get a room for 50 quid, even though the rooms are usually hundred and fifty. i wasnt feeling too good by the morning...also have weird lump in my throat that has stopped me from swallowing properly (no jokes please!!!!) seeing doctor tomorrow....bit worried really since my throat is my income! trying to stay positive though!

so after the concert it was val day....very sweet hubbie gave me ratatoille on dvd...awwww! and we went to frankie and bennies for slap up meal, tres nice!
came home to find my cousin is coming down for two days, that was nice

oh! before sheryl...won a tenner on the lottery and 18 quid on random scratch card! wahoo! my philosophy is, that if you win money, you should share it with somone, so bought big issue, gave a quid to 'moldovite' blogger' and saved some and then, bought my friend a book.

good deeds done, i then went on to win a camera and be given a free gift bag in boots! karma is a funny thing!

other than that, went on a band doo and everything got waaayyyy outa hand....will never drink alcohol with muso's again as we all turn into plonkers!!!!

also found out my gran had breast cancer...not good, especially with throat thing....then found out one of my close friends has liver cancer, two big tumours that are too large to remove....she is so calm with it, whilst i have been breaking apart.....im seeing just how fragile life can be....the only certainty in life is death......talk about putting a spin on things. been very philosophical lately, hence the quietness....but we dont talk enough about those things so just thought id start to write again!

good news is that my cousin is getting married, as is my friend helen and my other cousin is haveing a baby, due yesterday....she is now eating pineapple to try and get it out!!!! i love her!

so, how you been?!!!!

i wish you could see what i see right now! my rabbit, loppy, a smokey blue fluffy bundle with one ear that sticks up and one that sticks down, is laying on her matt like lady muck! her hind legs are stretched out and her front paws are crossed over each other and she has that 'im too good for you' look on her face! she'll only move now if she wants food or to play with me! sometimes, if youre really lucky, she humps your leg and licks you, but right now, she is pretending not to notice me and is laying like a rag doll on the matt...
if only she could see that, in all her glory, she is laying in a lump of her own poo!!!! ha ha ha! not so pretty now are ya!!!!!!

i love shakespeare....i think i actually love him. i love him in a way many others love to blog, use their phone or get naked.....he is tttoootttallly amazing! last night, i was reading a book on shakespearian monologues and all his female characters rock! plus, my favourite play is much ado about nothing so i was pleased to read hero's monologue, which jolted my memory of just how talented shakespeare truly was.
going on a mish back in time now to read all the shakespeare plays, bronte sisters, austin and eliot. and i will wear flowing cotton and have my hair in ringlets and shout 'make haste, make haste!'....and then come back to earth and realise i am still wearing jeans and grubby socks from feeding the birds......ai me!
if only i had a flux capacitor to help me!!!!!
oooohhh lllaaaaa, i am quite fatigued!!!!! i must make haste to the drawing rrrooom for a little lucncheon with a barborous mmaaannnn!

THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST WEEK SO FAR! PARIS FASHION WEEK, COOL GIG, AMAZING SUNSHINE AND PANCAKES...LOTS OF PANCAKES!!!!!!

ok, so my little brother jon is the one with all the brains, looks and talent in the family. you would think id be jealous, which of course i am, but mostly i am inspired by this little dude. he is 22 years old and these are his accomplishments:

SUDDENLY I FEEL QUITE SMALL AND UNWORTHY!!!!! im the oldest and...well...just feel like the 'arty' one with no cash!!!!!!!
but hey! there's nothing like inspiring family members to make you get off your ass and do stuff!

i love this women, she is so talented at...well, everything! i typed in 'where did emma thompson go to drama school' and it came up with a biography type thing about her. she studied english at cambridge and got into acting through uni plays! plus she is uber intelligent, good looking and so down to earth about things.....i love her. has anyone seen 'stranger than fiction' with miss thonpson and will ferrell? it is brilliant, thoroughly reccommend it!

i am sat here, gazing out into my garden. the sun is shining, the trees are gently swaying and the birds are singing. the sky is the lightest blue and the grass is a dense green. i am listening to a beautiful cd of american indian chant music and i am still in my pjs. the wind is so soft and when it moves the tree in my garden, it looks as if it is dancing or laughing...or both! this is such a beautiful day! and it is only 2 o clock!
this is the day i am glad to have eyes to see, hands to share and a mind to portray my visions into thoughts.
i dont know where any of you are, but i hope you can find some beauty in this day. i hope that you can find a moment of stillness, just to breathe, to be aware of the fact that you are breathing for another day. that your time is not over, that you are here in all your glory.
i hope that you can smile today, if not just the once. that this day brings you a joy that you want to lie down and be still for.
i hope that someone you love, be it human, animal or divine will find you and touch your soul, spreading beauty through your mind and body.
i hope that you can see the dancing trees, the powder blue sky, the singing birds and the beautiful sun, if not just in your mind for the split second that you read this blog.

but most of all, be aware of your beating heart. how it moves you to tears and laughter all at once. how it beats for you to live. even if you feel pain, at least you feel. this life is for the senses. smell, touch, see, hear, feel. and if you cant do that....know that it is beautiful. if you are blind, let someone tell you a beautiful story. if you are deaf, look out the window, if you cant smell, imagine how it would taste and if you cant feel..... if you cant feel, listen. listen to the music that moves your soul. listen to the sound of your dreams, calling you, touching you. listen to the taste of a kiss on your cheek.....you can always feel.

my dear friends, wherever you are today, before you sleep tonight, know that you are alive. that the greatest gift has been bestowed upon you. that you have the privelage of another day.

IM GOING BACK TO PARIS!!!!! yep! this time, it is with a friend of mine who is friends with one of the designers at paris fashion week!!!!! we've got passes to the after show party too!!!!! i cant help but feel like my primark clothes will be frowned upon!!!! but i dont care! i may get to squeeze a fake boob and dance with a seriously good gay dancer so i cant wait!!!! i will be taking my camera and pretend to be part of the pap!!!!! i go at the end of the month so i will keep you updated!
